From February to March 2023 Dan Carabas presented his solo exhibition The METAMORPHS - transcending from METAMORPHIC SCULPTURES at unpaired. NFT gallery in crypto valley, Zug in Switzerland.

Dan's work is an extension of the language of the body through the new interpretation of Shibari, a Japanese art of tying. The use of unique natural materials as a print medium breaks through the limitations of reproducible photographic artwork itself. The use of computer language also allows the momentary nature of photography itself to be broken down, providing an imagination of identity, transformation, and the relationship between people and technology in the blurring of animations. His art practice is an exploration of the boundaries of body language.

Each animation consists of approximately 100 photographs morphing into a single entity. The bodies in these animations have been altered and manipulated in a variety of ways, from the subtle to the extreme, still each animation captures the essence of the human form in its original shaped sculpture.
